Larry Mikolashek
Operations Manager
Larry’s main objective is to provide support for a staff of highly skilled steel fabricators and sheet metal mechanics. In addition to providing fair estimates he assists in design, orders materials, schedules fabrication, and documents production while maintaining close contact with the customer to assure they are pleased.
Larry has a B.A. from Kent State, a Certified Class A AC Contractor’s license from Florida, and AutoCAD training from MDC. Perhaps his most valuable asset is 40 years in HVAC with extensive hands-on experience in the shop and in construction. Larry worked as Field Superintendent for BSA Sheet Metal and B&I Contractors. He has also enjoyed nearly twenty years at Thermal Concepts in Sheet Metal, Construction, Drafting, and Fabrication.
Dale Schrack
General Manager – Insulation and Environmental
As General Manager for the insulation and environmental side of Merlin Industries, Dale Schrack is responsible for all client relationships, new business development, estimating and project management. His leadership also includes regular training for field staff about the latest products and practices that deliver the best air insulation and air quality to Merlin’s clients.
Dale has 35 years of experience in the HVAC industry. His HVAC career includes long-term employment with Burger King Corporation and American Standard Corporation, and was an Owner-Operator of his own HVAC business for 10 years. Dale began working in various management positions for Thermal Concepts in 2000, and has been General Manager for Merlin’s Insulation and Environmental business since 2011.
